Power Transmission R&D

TNBR has developed R&D programs to improve transmission line reliability, increase capacity and controllability. It operates an advanced nationwide lightning detection & protection centre, manages a transformer & switchgear research & diagnostics program as well as performs advanced research to increase transmission line capacity using leading edge technology.
